This image of former University of Tennessee defensive coordinator and associate head coach John Chavis was used in the 2009 Athlon Sports College Football preview magazine. Chavis joined the coaching staff of LSU in 2009 after leaving Tennessee when Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer stepped down at the conclusion of the 2008 season.
